Kenadi Dodds was a singer/guitarist/pianist act from Season 15 of America's Got Talent.  She finished in the Bottom 5 of the Top 10.

Background[]

Kenadi Dodds is a 15-year-old country music singer-songwriter who has dreamed of becoming a singer since her first Shania Twain concert when she was 9 years old. She is inspired every day by her family, who doesn't let their blindness interfere with them living the life of their dreams. Kenadi has the full support of her family as she reaches for the stars. Although music was not a part of the Dodds family background at the beginning of her journey, it was never an excuse to not pursue her passion. Kenadi is coached by her dad, a two-time Paralympian who has taught her the importance of hard work and perseverance. Kenadi's love for music has inspired her two younger sisters to follow in her footsteps at an even younger age. Kenadi is determined to bring love and positivity to the world through her music.

Audition[]

Kenadi Dodds's audition in Episode 1506 consisted of playing the guitar and singing an original song called "One Way Ticket to Tennessee". Howie Mandel, Eric Stonestreet, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes", sending her to the next round.

Judge Cuts[]

Kenadi Dodds automatically advanced to the Quarterfinals without performing, though her verdict was not televised.

Quarterfinals[]

Kenadi Dodds' Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1515 consisted of playing the piano and singing her original song "Dancing Through the Stars".  Kenadi received enough votes to advance to the Semifinals in Episode 1516 instead of Noah Epps.

Semifinals[]

Kenadi Dodds' Semifinals performance in Episode 1519 consisted of playing the piano and singing Thomas Rhett's "Be a Light".  Kenadi finished in 4th, 5th or 6th place in America's Vote.  In the Dunkin' Save, she received more online votes than BAD Salsa and Max Major, advancing to the Finals in Episode 1520.

Finals[]

Kenadi Dodds' Finals performance in Episode 1521 consisted of playing the guitar and singing Carrie Underwood's "Love Wins". Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara gave her standing ovations.

Finale[]

For the finale in Episode 1522, Kenadi Dodds performed "If The World Was Ending" with Roberta Battaglia, JP Saxe and Julia Michaels.  She did not receive enough votes to enter the Top 5, eliminating her from the competition instead of Roberta Battaglia.

Trivia[]

Kenadi Dodds was the only finalist of Season 15 whose verdict in Judge Cuts was not televised.
