It was the only gospel choir in Seoul that brought four young men together - Sooyong, Shyun, Jihwan and Young. The four became fast friends and began singing gospel tunes in the park. After posting a video on Instagram, they quickly went viral, and their videos soon brought them to Grammy Award-winning artist Bebe Winans, who named them Korean Soul.

The group finished in 6th, 7th or 8th place in America's Vote. In the AGT Save, they received fewer online votes than Tory Vagasy. In the Judges' Choice, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara didn't vote for them but Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell did, forcing a tiebreaker; whichever act had received more votes from America would progress. They received more votes than T.3, advancing to the Semifinals in Episode 1612.
