Korean Soul was a vocal group from Season 16 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Semifinals.
Background[]
It was the only gospel choir in Seoul that brought four young men together - Sooyong, Shyun, Jihwan and Young. The four became fast friends and began singing gospel tunes in the park. After posting a video on Instagram, they quickly went viral, and their videos soon brought them to Grammy Award-winning artist Bebe Winans, who named them Korean Soul.
Audition[]
Korean Soul's audition in Episode 1602 consisted of singing "All My Life" by K-Ci & JoJo. Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes", sending them to the next round.
Deliberations[]
Korean Soul was chosen to advance to the Top 36.
Quarterfinals[]
Korean Soul's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1611 consisted of singing Aerosmith's "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing". Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara gave them standing ovations. The group finished in 6th, 7th or 8th place in America's Vote. In the Instant Save, they received fewer online votes than Tory Vagasy. In the Judges' Choice, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara didn't vote for them but Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell did, forcing a tiebreaker; whichever act had received more votes from America would progress. They received more votes than T.3, advancing to the Semifinals in Episode 1612.
Semifinals[]
Korean Soul's Semifinals performance in Episode 1615 consisted of singing Lauren Daigle's "You Say". The group did not receive enough votes to advance to the Finals in Episode 1616, eliminating them from the competition along with Madilyn Bailey instead of Aidan Bryant
