Lachuné was a singer from Season 18 of America's Got Talent. She was eliminated in the Semifinals.
Background[]
Lachuné's full name is Lachuné Boyd. Lachuné was raised in South Carolina, however had been residing in Fort Worth, Texas since 2019. Lachuné worked as a part time voice teacher as she learnt that if she wasn't confident enough to sing she should work close to it. Lachuné was also a student. Lachuné grew up in a singing family and spent a majority of her time observing her family perform as she never pictured herself performing on stage.
Audition[]
Lachuné's audition in Episode 1805 consisted of performing "Yellow" by Coldplay. All 4 judges voted "Yes", sending her to the next round.
Deliberations[]
Lachuné was chosen to advance to the Semifinals.
Semifinals[]
Lachuné's Semifinals performance in Episode 1818 consisted of singing a downtempo version of Bonnie Tyler's "The Best". Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell gave her standing ovations. She did not receive enough votes to enter the top 5 of the night in Episode 1819, eliminating her from the competition instead of Ramadhani Brothers and Gabriel Henrique.
