Lake Houston Dance, also known as Lake Houston Performing Arts Center, was a dance group from Season 4 of America's Got Talent. The group was eliminated in the Vegas Round, but it returned as one of eight Wild Cards in the Quarterfinals, where it was eliminated again.

Background[]

The LHPAC Dance Company is a Northeast Houston competition dance team. The America's Got Talent team featured 27 kids. For over 24 years they have dominated regional & national competitions with their unique routines. Heather Nicholas is the Director of the dance program. 1

Audition[]

Lake Houston Performing Arts Center's audition in Episode 404 consisted of dancing as a group in afro wigs to Peaches' "Shake Your Groove Thing." Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David Hasselhoff all voted "Yes", sending the group to the Vegas Round.

Vegas Round[]

Lake Houston Performing Arts Center was one of the 25 acts eliminated in the first Vegas Round cuts in Episode 411, at the Las Vegas Airport.

Wild Card[]

Lake Houston Performing Arts Center was one of eight acts given a second chance in the competition after Simon Cowell expressed that he was unhappy with some of the eliminations the judges made. As a result, the group was sent to the Quarterfinals.

Quarterfinals[]

Lake Houston Dance's Week 1 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 413 consisted of dancing as a group in pajamas with sleepover theme which featured the story of girls waking up late at night, having fun dancing and having pillow fights with each other, and then falling back to sleep. The group performed to Miley Cyrus's rendition of "Girls Just Want to Have Fun." The group did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals, eliminating it from the competition in Episode 414 along with Manuela Horn, instead of Drew Thomas Magic.
