Legión was a malambo group from Season 19 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Quarterfinals.
Background[]
The group are from Argentina and are directed by Fabian Serma. As well as dancing in the Malambo style, they also incorporate percussion into their act.
In 2018, they participated in the 5th season of Italian talent series Tu Si Que Vales, reaching the final.
Audition[]
Legión's audition in Episode 1903 consisted of performing a malambo routine where their shoes were entirely engulfed in fire, also incorporating drums and whips into their act. Near the end of the act, one of the dancers' shoes flew off. Impressed with their performance, Sofia Vergara hit the Golden Buzzer, sending them directly to the live shows.
Quarterfinals[]
Legión's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1911 consisted of performing a malambo routine with drums, sworts and tap dancing with flaming boots. Heidi Klum and Sofía Vergara gave them standing ovations. They did not receive enough votes to enter the top 5 of the night in Episode 1912, eliminating them from the competition instead of Sky Elements.
