Lilia Stepanova was a contortionist from Season 1 of America's Got Talent. She was eliminated in the Semifinals.
Background[]
Lilia Stepanova is from Las Vegas, Nevada. Her parents performed ever since she was born. Lilia used to watch her mother all the time when her mother did an aerial act. Lilia herself started practicing with her mother when she was 5.
Audition[]
Lilia Stepanova's audition in Episode 103 consisted of first shooting a bow with her hands while standing on one foot and then shooting a bow with her feet. Piers Morgan, Brandy Norwood, and David Hasselhoff all voted "Yes", sending Lilia to the Semifinals.
Semifinals[]
Lilia Stepanova's Week 4 Semifinals performance in Episode 110 consisted of again shooting a bow with her feet and demonstrating her flexibility as a contortionist. Although they noted Lilia did not demonstrate anything new (she replied that she could also do an aerial act), Piers Morgan, Brandy Norwood, and David Hasselhoff all gave her "✓" votes. Lilia did not receive enough votes to finish in at least second place in America's Vote, eliminating her from the competition in Episode 111 instead of Celtic Spring and David & Dania - Quick Change.
