Lukas & Falco were a dog act from Season 14 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Quarterfinals in the Judges' Choice, but returned as the wildcard for the Semifinals, where they were eliminated again. They returned for America's Got Talent: All-Stars where they were eliminated in the Preliminaries.
Background[]
Lukas Pratschker and his dog Falco are originally from Vienna, Austria, and are a canine freestyle team. They have been performing together for nearly eight years. Lukas worked as a full-time dog trainer in Vienna after he finished school in 2014 and opened an indoor practice center for his project, "School of Dog." On the weekends, Lukas and Falco perform their dog dance shows at different events around Europe.
Falco is a Border Collie and likes to play with his toys and little brothers in the park. He also loves to take long walks around the forest and swim in the lake. He is a very relaxed dog who likes to be the center of everyone's attention.
When Lukas is not training dogs or on walks with his best four-legged friend, he likes to play the guitar, piano or drums. [1]
Lukas & Falco were the winners of Das Supertalent (Germany's Got Talent) in 2013.
Audition[]
Lukas & Falco's audition in Episode 1405 consisted of Falco performing various tricks in a cowboy-themed routine. Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes," sending Lukas & Falco to the Judge Cuts.
Judge Cuts[]
Lukas & Falco's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1407 consisted of the pair performing tricks in a setting based off of The Greatest Showman, set to "This is Me" from said movie. Simon Cowell gave the duo a standing ovation. Their performance was strong enough for the judges to advance to the Quarterfinals instead of The Sentimentalists.
Quarterfinals[]
Lukas & Falco's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1415 consisted of performing tricks as a pair inspired by the movie Honey, I Shrunk the Kids set to Blink-182's "All the Small Things". Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough and Simon Cowell gave them standing ovations. Lukas & Falco finished in 6th, 7th or 8th place in America's Vote. In the Dunkin' Save, they received fewer online votes than Jackie Fabulous. In the Judges' Choice, Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union and Simon Cowell unanimously did not vote for them, eliminating them from the competition in Episode 1416 instead of Marcin Patrzalek (Julianne Hough's vote was not needed).
Semifinals[]
Lukas & Falco returned as a Wild Card. Their Semifinals performance in Episode 1419 consisted of performing tricks with a race car theme set to a cover of Blondie's "One Way or Another". At one point, Falco stepped on Howie Mandel's buzzer, but Howie later admitted that he had intended to buzz the act regardless. Despite this, Julianne Hough and Simon Cowell gave them standing ovations. They did not receive enough votes to advance to the Finals in Episode 1420, eliminating them from the competition along with Marcin Patrzalek instead of Detroit Youth Choir.
All-Stars Preliminary[]
Lukas & Falco's Preliminary performance in Episode AS06 consisted of performing tricks together with Falco's canine brothers with a theme of Top Gun set to a cover of Glenn Frey's "The Heat is On". They did not receive enough votes from the Superfans to enter the Top 3 of the night, eliminating them from the competition

- Lukas & Falco are the first dog act to be buzzed in the live shows since Gabe Rocks in Season 6.
- They are the first act to be buzzed by Howie Mandel in the Semifinals since Maestro Alexander Bui in Season 5.

Falco passed away on April 27, 2024.
