Magic Mike Jacobson hails from Los Angeles and works in advertising, stating before his performance that it would determine whether or not he could quit his advertising work. He had been performing magic wherever he could beforehand with his love of magic continuously rising as he did so. He previously performed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show before the show was axed in May 2022.

Magic Mike Jacobson's audition in Episode 1807 consisted of performing a magic routine which revolved around the use of an invisible deck of cards being burnt with Simon Cowell saving one card dependent on the decisions made by both Heidi Klum & Sofia Vergara, and Simon selecting a card from a suit to save, before Howie Mandel shuffled an invisible deck of cards and signed his name on one of the cards before it was revealed that this card were in Mike's possession. All four judges voted "Yes", sending him to the next round.

Mike was not chosen as one of the 55 acts to advance to the Semifinals, eliminating him from the competition.
