Malevo

Malevo is a Malambo group act from Season 11 of America's Got Talent.

Background

Malevo consists of a group of eight men from Buenos Aires, Argentina. They like to consider themselves the "Magic Mikes" of Argentina. The members grew up in poverty, some with no electricity and power. To make ends meet, the members have jobs such as carpentry, construction, and gas attendance. Most of the team have known each other since they were little kids.

Audition

Malevo's audition in Episode 1102 consisted of performing a rhythmically, Malambo routine with tap dancing in gaucho's boots, beating drums, and whirling boleadoras rhythmically. Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes," sending the group to the Judge Cuts.
