Maytree were an a cappella group from Season 17 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Deliberations.
Background[]
The group comes from South Korea and covers soundtrack and background music. They recently went viral with a Squid Game video when the show was hitting its peak in popularity.
Audition[]
Maytree's audition in Episode 1707 consisted of singing a medley of TV theme songs, including The Simpsons, Cheers and Modern Family. All the judges voted "Yes", sending them to the next round. After their audition, they sang the Brooklyn Nine-Nine theme song for Terry Crews backstage.
Deliberations[]
Maytree were not selected as one of the 55 acts in the Semifinals, eliminating them from the competition.
After the Show[]
In 2022, Maytree featured in an advertisement for the app Candy Crush Saga in order to celebrate the apps ten year anniversary.
In 2023, the group auditioned for the eighteenth season of France's Got Talent.
