Metane was a rapper from Season 7 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated before the Vegas Round.

Background[]

Born in St. Louis, MO, Metane began his career from very humble beginnings. Being raised by a single mother, he started taking his thoughts and experiences and writing them down. By the age of twelve he noticed that he had a passion for words and started putting them in to song form ready for recording. His songwriting became a reality when he began to perform at the age of fourteen at various venues throughout the Midwest. Metane has shared the stage with many well-known artists throughout his career, and has headlined many events, made guest appearances, won talent competitions, and performed on the nationally syndicated show "Americas Got Talent". Metane can now be seen on BETs television series "One Shot" hosted by Hip-Hop ambassador Sway Calloway, as he strives to take his career to the next level. He has received the “Best Well-Rounded Artist” Award at the 2015 Animal Houze Music Awards, and has won “Hottest in The City” sponsored by Fleet Nation, Blok Club Krazy, On The Grind DJ’s, Missourihiphop.com, and Straightdrophiphop.com . Audition[]

Metane's audition in Episode 706 was not televised, but it consisted of rapping his original song "Like This Beat". Although Howard Stern voted "No", Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel both voted "Yes", sending Metane to the Vegas Round.

Vegas Round[]

Metane did not compete in the Vegas Round, meaning he was either cut or withdrew before this stage of the competition.
