Background[]

Mia Boostrom is from Dighton, Massachusetts. She aimed to be a role model for teenagers who were afraid to perform because they do not have the perfect American image.

Season 3 Audition[]

Mia Boostrom's audition was never fully televised, but it consisted of singing Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" while playing the keyboard. It is unknown whether or not she was buzzed, but at least two judges voted "Yes," sending Mia to the Vegas Round.

Season 3 Vegas Round[]

Mia Boostrom was one of the Music Acts in the Vegas Round. She was sorted into the "Kid Singers" category. Her performance in Episode 308 consisted of singing Alica Keys' "If I Ain't Got You" while playing the piano. Mia's audition was not strong enough for the judges to include her in the Top 60, eliminating her from the competition along with Cafidia Stuart that same episode.

Season 4 Audition[]

Mia Boostrom returned in Season 4. Her second audition in Episode 408 consisted of singing Ray Charles' "Georgia on My Mind" while playing the piano. Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David Hasselhoff all voted "Yes", sending Mia to the Vegas Round.

Season 4 Vegas Round[]

Mia Boostrom appeared without performing in the Vegas Round. Her audition was strong enough for the judges to send her to the Quarterfinals in Episode 412 instead of Kelli Glover.

Season 4 Quarterfinals[]

Mia Boostrom's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 419 consisted of singing the Alexandra Burke version of "Hallelujah" while playing the piano. Mia finished in fifth or sixth place in America's Vote. In the Judges' Choice, although Sharon Osbourne voted for her, Piers Morgan and David Hasselhoff did not, eliminating Mia from the competition in Episode 420 instead of Erik and Rickie.

After the Show[]

After the show, Mia's first two EP's launched on iTunes. From there, Mia continued to open for David Foster on his national tour in 2010, and work as a model for the Torrid, the clothing company.
