Michael Harrison was a ventriloquist from Season 3 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated in the Vegas Round.

Background[]

Michael Harrison is a ventriloquist, puppeteer and comedian. He has worked along side numerous acts from The Muppets to Boyz to Men. He has also headlined for some of the world’s most luxurious cruise lines including Princess, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Holland America. His many talents allow him to create performances for all type of audiences; adults, kids and family. Companies such as, Verizon Wireless and Sandals Resorts have booked his corporate comedy act. Disney, the world’s largest entertainment company, booked him for his family show for 8 consecutive years and over 1500 performances as the headline act for Disney Cruise Line.

Michael wrote and starred in the award winning television show, “Kids in the Firehall”. The show aired on the Family Channel in Canada and on Nickelodeon in the US. It was awarded the prestigious Bronze Apple from the National Educational Media Network, the Award of Excellence in Children’s Television by the Parents Choice Foundation and the Award of Merit from The Alliance for Children and Television. 1

Audition[]

Michael Harrison's audition in Episode 306 consisted of a ventriloquist routine involving a live member of the audience as a human puppet along with Michael's own dummy. Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David Hasselhoff all voted "Yes", sending Michael to the Vegas Round.








Vegas Round[]

Michael Harrison was one of the Variety Acts in the Vegas Round.  His performance in Episode 308 consisted of singing Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" while alternating voices with a snake puppet. Whether his audition was strong enough for the judges to include him in the Top 60 is unknown, but nevertheless, Michael did not progress to the Top 40 Quarterfinals.
