Michael Winslow was a voicetramentalist from Season 16 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated in the Semifinals in the Judges' Choice.


Michael is from Orlando, Florida. He is best known as Cadet Larvell Jones in the Police Academy movie franchise and also appeared in Mel Brooks' sci-fi spoof movie Spaceballs. He left the business to raise his children as a single father after his wife died.

Michael made his television debut on an episode of NBC's The Gong Show in 1978 in which he won his episode. [1]


Michael Winslow's audition in Episode 1607 consisted of making sound effects using his voice while telling the story of his childhood. All 4 judges voted "Yes", sending Michael to the next round.


Michael Winslow was chosen to advance to the Top 36.


Michael Winslow's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1613 consisted of making sound effects using his voice telling a story about how noisy Hollywood Boulevard is. Heidi Klum gave him a standing ovation. Michael finished in 6th, 7th or 8th place in America's Vote. In the Instant Save, he received more online votes than Storm Large and UniCircle Flow, advancing to the Semifinals in Episode 1614.


Michael Winslow's Semifinals performance in Episode 1615 consisted of playing a game with the judges about how many sound effects he could make in 2 minutes through various categories. Michael finished in 4th, 5th or 6th place in America's Vote. In the Instant Save, he received less online votes than Jimmie Herrod. In the Judges' Choice, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell unanimously did not vote for him, eliminating him from the competition in Episode 1616 instead of World Taekwondo Demonstration Team.
