Murmuration was a dance group from Season 18 of America's Got Talent. They finished the competition in 3rd place.
Background[]
The creator and choreographer of Murmuration, Sadeck Waff previously had another one of his group’s audition in Season 13 called Géométrie Variable where they were eliminated in the audition round. Géométrie Variable later went on to be finalists on the fourth season of World of Dance.
In 2021, Murmuration competed on the sixteenth season of France’s Got Talent under the name “Sadeck and Mega Unity” with Sadeck leading the group where they received the Golden Buzzer from judge Sugar Sammy and finished as the runner-ups of the competition. Additionally in 2021, Murmuration won the eighth season of Tu Si Que Vales in under the name Géométrie Variable. Maillot Jibril filled in for Sadeck on AGT since Sadeck was sick during a majority of the performances, however Sadeck recovered in order to join the group for their performance in the Final.
Audition[]
Murmuration's audition in Episode 1804 consisted of performing an intricately-choreographed dance routine in which all the dancers performed blindfolded. Impressed with their performance, Howie Mandel hit the Golden Buzzer, sending them directly to the Semifinals.
Semifinals[]
Murmuration's Semifinals performance in Episode 1812 consisted of a synchronized dance routine using lights and hats as props and delivering a message of love and unity. Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell all gave them standing ovations. They received enough votes to enter the top 5 of the night in Episode 1813 instead of Erica Coffelt and Steel Panther, and the top 3 instead of Alfie Andrew and Ryland. They advanced to the Final along with Ahren Belisle instead of Chioma & The Atlanta Drum Academy.
Finals[]
Murmuration's Finals performance in Episode 1820 consisted of performing a beautifully synchronized dance routine with a message of unity together with the audience. Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell all gave them standing ovations.
Finale[]
In the Episode 1821 finale, Murmuration performed a mash-up routine with Anna DeGuzman and Jason Derulo performing "Hands On Me" and "Take You Dancing". They received enough votes to enter the top 5 instead of Mzansi Youth Choir and Avantgardey. They finished the competition in 3rd place, ahead of Putri Ariani and Ramadhani Brothers, but behind Adrian Stoica and Hurricane and Anna DeGuzman.
After the Show[]
Members of Murmuration auditioned for the ninth season of Spain’s Got Talent later in 2023 as apart of Mega Unity where they received the Group Golden Buzzer and advanced onto the Final.
Additionally in 2023, Mega Unity auditioned for the eighteenth season of France's Got Talent where they received the Golden Buzzer from judge Marianne James. They were the winners of the competition.

- Murmuration is among a group of acts that received a Golden Buzzer on both AGT and an international version of the Got Talent franchise.
- With over 65 dancers in the troupe, it is the largest group act in AGT history.
- They were the highest-placing Golden Buzzer act of Season 18.
- Murmuration set the record for the most acts eliminated on the route to the top 5 since the format change with 7 (eliminating Erica Coffelt, Steel Panther, Alfie Andrew, Ryland and Chioma & The Atlanta Drum Academy in semifinal 2, and Mzansi Youth Choir and Avantgardey in the final).
