Background[]

Myq Kaplan is a comedian named Myq Kaplan (pronounced "Mike Kaplan"). His first one-hour comedy special, "Small, Dork, and Handsome" is available on Netflix and for audio download on iTunes. Audition[]

Myq Kaplan's audition in Episode 1006 consisted of joking about his experience at a theatre and his relationship with a lady. At least three judges voted "Yes," sending Myq to the Judge Cuts round.

Judge Cuts[]

Myq Kaplan's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1008 consisted of joking about his girlfriend not knowing he is on the show, giving women pick-up lines, and majoring in Philosophy in college. Myq's performance was strong enough for the judges to send him to the Quarterfinals instead of Keith Klein and Michael John.

Quarterfinals[]

Myq Kaplan's Week 2 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1014 consisted of joking about his outfit being sharp, his lack of love for children, calling other kids owls, and about airport security responding to separate pasta and sauce. Myq did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals in Episode 1015, eliminating him from the competition instead of Derek Hughes.
