From caring for premature babies to treating COVID-19 patients, the nurses of Northwell Health faced tragedy and exhaustion this past year. But by relying on one another, they learned how to get through anything. They inspired us all with their strength and resilience, earning them Howie's Golden Buzzer during their first performance on the "AGT" stage. The Northwell Health Nurse Choir hopes that their singing will continue to heal and spread joy to all affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Northwell Health Nurse Choir's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1611 consisted of singing "You Will Be Found" from the musical Dear Evan Hansen. Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell all gave them standing ovations. They received enough votes to advance to the Semifinals in Episode 1612 instead of Shuffolution.

For the finale in Episode 1620, Northwell Health Nurse Choir sang "Defying Gravity" with Idina Menzel and Jimmie Herrod. The group did not receive enough votes to enter the Top 5, eliminating them from the competition instead of Dustin Tavella.
