Oleksandr Leshchenko was a multimedia dancer from Season 18 of America's Got Talent. He finished in the top 5 of his Semifinal week.

Background[]

A Ukraine native, Oleksandr, 34, always dreamed of becoming a dancer. At 13, he discovered his talent and passion for choreography. When he turned 16, Oleksandr was invited to become the main choreographer for the Foresight Dance Theatre, a group that creates musical and circus shows, founded by his future wife, Lina. Oleksandr has won “Dancing with the Stars Ukraine” and “My Dance Ukraine,” while placing second on “So You Think You Can Dance Ukraine.” Now married for 10 years, Oleksandr and Lina created a performance with Magic Innovations, a 4D cube that fuses technology and human spirit to bring their unique dances to life even more. Oleksandr Leshchenko and Magic Innovations’ mission is to share the beauty of Ukraine with the help of their art.

Audition[]

Oleksandr Leshchenko's audition in Episode 1803 consisted of dancing to Birdy's "Wings" using multimedia visuals to tell the story. All 4 judges voted "Yes", sending him to the next round.

Deliberations[]

Oleksandr was selected to advance to the Semifinals.

Semifinals[]

Oleksandr Leshchencko's Semifinals performance in Episode 1810 consisted of performing a multimedia dance telling the story of a hero's journey to free his land from evil. Howie Mandel gave him a standing ovation. He received enough votes to enter the top 5 of the night in Episode 1811 instead of John Wines, but did not receive enough votes to enter the top 3, eliminating him from the competition along with Brynn Cummings instead of Lavender Darcangelo, Mitch Rossell and Adrian Stoica and Hurricane.

After the Show[]

In 2024, Oleksandr Leshchencko competed on the eleventh season of Italian competition series Tu Si Que Vales.
