Paddy and Nicko were a salsa duo from AGT: The Champions 2, They were eliminated in the Preliminaries.
Background[]
Sarah Patricia "Paddy" Jones and Nicolás "Nico" Espinosa first competed on Britain's Got Talent in 2014, receiving the Golden Buzzer from Amanda Holden and finishing in the Finals. They returned for Britain's Got Talent: The Champions in 2019, this time receiving the Golden Buzzer from David Walliams and again finishing in the Finals.
They were at Das Supertalent 2015 and came with a golden buzzer in the finals.
In 2017 the duo appeared on the fourth season of the Italian competition series Tu Si Que Vales [1]
They were backing dancers for Italian band Lo Stato Sociale at the 2018 Sanremo Music Festival in Italy. The group's song "La vita in vacanza" finished in 2nd place behind winners Ermal Meta and Fabrizio Moro.
Paddy and Nico also hold the distinction of receiving the first ever Golden Buzzer given away on either BGT or AGT.
The Champions 2 Preliminary[]
Paddy and Nicko's Preliminary performance in Episode TC201 consisted of performing a dance routine to "Let's Get Loud" by Jennifer Lopez. Howie Mandel, Alesha Dixon, Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell all gave them standing ovations. They did not receive enough votes from the Superfans to advance to the Semifinals, eliminating them from the competition along with Dan Naturman instead of Duo Transcend.
