Pam Martin's Top Dogs, also known as Pam and Viva Martin, was a dog act from Season 4 of America's Got Talent. It was eliminated in the Quarterfinals.
Background[]
Pam Martin is from Garland, texas. She got dog Viva after her husband passed away. Viva helped her grieve and fill the void. Viva is almost a second daughter to her.
Multi-sport dog trainer, competitor, and performer, Pam Martin has been training dogs for 30 years. Martin has trained her dogs to the top levels of Flyball, Canine Freestyle and Canine Disc. She is best known for her small mix breeds in fact several of her canine disc performances have garnered the awards of Crowd Pleaser, Favorite Entertainer and Best Small Dog. There is no spare time for Martin's pack; when they are not competing, they enjoy conducting training seminars introducing new dog sports throughout North America, Mexico, Brazil and as far away as Japan. Pam and Viva Martin's audition in Episode 404 consisted of Pam dancing with Viva, who performed tricks such as climbing onto Pam's back and balancing her entire body on her two front legs. Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David Hasselhoff all voted "Yes", sending the duo to the Vegas Round.
Vegas Round[]
Pam and Viva Martin appeared without performing in the Vegas Round. The duo's audition was strong enough for the judges to send the duo to the Quarterfinals in Episode 412.
Quarterfinals[]
Pam Martin's Top Dogs' Quarterfinals performance in Episode 419 consisted of Pam dancing with Viva and Viva walking across a thin beam on Viva's front legs, all to The Contours' "Do You Love Me." Pam Martin's Top Dogs did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals, eliminating the act from the competition in Episode 420 along with African High Flyers and Coney Island Chris.
