Philippe and Marie-Lee was an acrobat duo from Season 11 of America's Got Talent. It was eliminated in the Judge Cuts.

Background[]

Philippe Bélanger and Marie-Lee Gilbert are exes. Both trained at the École de cirque de Québec and performed in the KOOZA production of Cirque du Soleil beginning in 2012. They have also performed individually around the world.

Bélanger and Guilbert currently run Quebec-based Producorps, which offers a range of services for circus performers. [1]

Audition[]

Philippe and Marie-Lee's audition was never televised. It is unknown whether or not it was buzzed, but at least three judges voted "Yes," sending the duo to the Judge Cuts round.

Judge Cuts[]

Philippe and Marie-Lee's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1107 consisted of dancing and performing acrobatic feats such as Philippe twirling Marie-Lee over his shoulder and Marie-Lee doing a one-hand hand-stand on Philippe's head, all to Robert Palmer's "Addicted To Love." The duo's performance was not strong enough for the judges to send it to the Quarterfinals, eliminating it from the competition along with Jon Call, instead of The Passing Zone.
