Pixie Mystère was a contortion dance group from Season 4 of America's Got Talent. It was eliminated in the Quarterfinals in the Judges' Choice.

Background

Pixie Mystère consists of performers from Jersey Cape Dance and Gymnastics Academy. The Pixie Mystere journey began when Stina Smith, director of Jersey Cape Dance Academy, received a call from the producers of America’s Got Talent, who had viewed the girls on a YouTube video. A private audition in New York City followed on a Friday, with an audition in front of the judges the following Tuesday. [1]

Audition

Pixie Mystère's audition in Episode 408 consisted of the dancers performing backflips in unison and bending their bodies backwards toward the ground. Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David Hasselhoff all voted "Yes", sending the group to the Vegas Round.

Vegas Round

Pixie Mystère appeared without performing in the Vegas Round. The group's audition was strong enough for the judges to send it to the Quarterfinals in Episode 412.

Quarterfinals

Pixie Mystère's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 417 consisted of dancing as a group to Barry Manilow's "Dancin' Fool." Tricks involved acrobatic flips and contortions. David Hasselhoff gave the group a standing ovation. Pixie Mystère finished in fifth or sixth place in America's Vote. In the Judges' Choice, Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David all did not vote for them, eliminating the group from the competition in Episode 418 instead of FootworKINGz.

Trivia
