Plastic Musik was a percussion group from Season 3 of America's Got Talent. It withdrew before the Vegas Round.

Background[]

Based out of Las Vegas, NV, Plastic Musik is a unique performance group that utilizes traditional percussion techniques, along with all-plastic instruments to produce familiar melodies. The combination of a revolutionary product known as "Boomwhackers," an energetic stage show, and surprising musicality provides an entertaining experience for musicians and non-musicians alike. When viewing a performance by Plastic Musik, the audience can expect to hear familiar themes ranging from classical favorites, to Motown classics, Hip-Hop hits, 80's movie themes, and original pieces all accompanied by a visually stimulating stage show.

Created in 2002, Plastic Musik has evolved from three drummers to five multi-instrumentalists, a three-piece rock outfit, and a DJ. With occasional appearances by other musical friends. 1

Audition[]

Plastic Musik's audition in Episode 301 consisted of creating music by drumming on laundry tubs with tuned plastic instruments. At least two judges voted "Yes", sending the group to the Vegas Round.

Vegas Round[]

Other opportunities were already in the works and the contractual obligations for America's Got Talent wouldn't allow for the group to retain their ownership percentages in already existing ventures; therefore the group respectfully declined the agreement, withdrawing from the competition.

After the Show[]

Plastic Musik has become the most successful percussion act in the college market, performing almost three-hundred shows per year.
