Rashida Jolley was a singer/harpist act from Season 4 of America's Got Talent. She was eliminated in the Vegas Round.

Background[]

Rashida Jolley, singer/harpist is the daughter of the late Noble Jolley Sr., a renowned jazz guitarist, earned Howard University’s first degree in Jazz Studies and mentored Rashida and her six siblings in music and in performance. When she was 7 years old, Rashida began singing lead in her church choir and started studying the harp at the DC Youth Orchestra at age 10. It was her mother’s idea to combine her vocal stylings with the harp, so she began composing songs on the harp which became part of her performance.

Rashida travels across the country when she is not performing, engaging young audiences with her public speaking and mentoring. She has opened up for John Legend, and received accolades for her performance at the Ludacris Foundation’s Tribute to Quincy Jones.

Rashida currently appears in the HBO Documentary “HBO Presents Lady Gaga in The Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden,” out on DVD, and is also pictured in Lady Gaga’s Book titled “Lady Gaga x Terry Richardson.” In addition, Tulani has appeared on The Ellen Show, The Today Show, The Mo’Nique Show, NBC, FOX 5, WJLA 7, BET, MTV, BELGIUM TV, GERMAN TV, E! Cable Television Network and several syndicated radio shows. In print, Tulani recently graced the cover of On Tap Magazine, and has been featured in Glamour Magazine, Ebony Magazine, Sister to Sister Magazine, US Weekly Magazine, USA Today, Uptown Magazine, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, and Baltimore Sun newspapers.
