Ruby Revue was a burlesque dance group from Season 4 of America's Got Talent. It was eliminated in the audition round.

Background[]

The Ruby Revue is a full-length urban burlesque show that celebrates the American traditions of live variety shows featuring award-winning burlesque tease. In 2014, The Ruby Revue won the prestigious title of “Best Troupe” at the Tournament of Tease in the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. The Ruby Revue Showgirls have also won many titles individually.

Established in 2006, The Ruby Revue performed in clubs around Dallas before starting its run at the House of Blues in 2010, and then quickly expanding to the House of Blues Houston. The World Famous Showgirls of the Ruby Revue have been featured on G4′s Attack of the Show and were the exclusive entertainment for Dita Von Teese’s cast party at Strip, Strip Hooray in Dallas. As a troupe, the Ruby Revue has performed at Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend, New York Lingerie Fashion Week, the New Orleans Burlesque Festival and Burlesque Hall of Fame. [1]

Audition[]

Ruby Revue's audition in Episode 406 consisted of burlesque dancing. Unfortunately, a chair one perform was standing on collapsed and one performer lost her balance while attempting a split across two chairs.. Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David Hasselhoff all buzzed the act. All three judges voted "No", eliminating the group from the competition.
