Ryland’s full name is Ryland Petty. Ryland hails from Staffordshire which is located in England. He is the son of the magician Craig Petty. He had been performing magic since the age of 2, stating he were born with "magical powers" and that his father passed down some of his magical powers that he no longer needed to him.
In 2022, Ryland reached the semifinals of the fifteenth season of Britain’s Got Talent where he placed 4th in the public vote that night.
Audition[]
Ryland's audition in Episode 1805 consisted of performing a magic routine which consisted of his magic word “scam” appearing on the back of a combination of numbers that he had the judges create, the judges revealed to have been given matching drawings at the start of his routine, on the back of the clothing of the members of The Magic Castle's Junior Program and written on the judges desk before his performance. All 4 judges voted "Yes", sending him to the next round.

Semifinals[]
Ryland's Semifinals performance in Episode 1812 consisted of performing a magic act showing off the bond between father and son while telling a story about him and his dad. He received enough votes to enter the top 5 of the night in Episode 1813 instead of Three G, but did not receive enough votes to enter the top 3, eliminating him from the competition along with Alfie Andrew instead of Ahren Belisle, Chioma & The Atlanta Drum Academy and Murmuration.
