Sean & Luke were tap dance duo from Season 9 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Quarterfinals.
Background[]
Sean Jones and Luke Pilalis have known each other their entire lives and remain supportive of the other. They have been dancing since they were three years old, when Luke's mother opened up a dance studio.
Audition[]
Sean & Luke's audition in Episode 902 consisted of tap dancing to Young MC's "Bust a Move" and Digital Underground's "Humpty Dance." Although Howard Stern voted "No," claiming he did not think the pair was talented enough for the show, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel voted "Yes," sending the duo to Judgment Week.
Judgment Week[]
Sean & Luke were sorted into the "Dance Acts" category in Judgment Week. Their performance in Episode 907 consisted of tap dancing together to "New York, New York" and hip-hop music. Sean & Luke's performance was strong enough for the judges to send them to the Quarterfinals in Episode 908.
Quarterfinals[]
Sean & Luke's Week 1 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 909 consisted of tap dancing to MKTO's "Classic" with backup dancers. Sean & Luke did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals, eliminating the duo from the competition in Episode 910 along with The Willis Clan, instead of Dan Naturman.
