Season 19 of America's Got Talent premiered on May 28, 2024. The entire judging panel from Season 18 returned, as well as the same host.
Italian coffee company Lavazza is the official beverage sponsor of this season, having their logo on the judges' cups during the live shows.

Each act that performed in front of the judges was given 2 minutes to demonstrate their talents for the judges. If an act received at least three "Yes" votes from the judges, they were accepted to the next round. Otherwise, they were eliminated from the competition.
Deliberations[]

44 acts were chosen to advance to the live shows (35 from the auditions round plus nine Golden Buzzer acts).
Quarterfinals[]

From the acts that moved past the Deliberations, 11 acts performed over each of 4 weeks. The judges got the power to send one act each week directly to the Final via the Golden Buzzer, while 3 of the remaining acts would be chosen via the public vote to advance to the Semifinals.

- This marks the return of the Quarterfinal round, last used in Season 16.
- This is the first season that a golden buzzer act got buzzed during the live shows.
- This is the first time since Season 5 in which no choirs advanced to the live shows.
- This is the first season to have auditions uploaded exclusively on the AGT official Youtube channel.
- The live show format was almost identical to the format of Champions 2, however this time 11 acts performed in the Quarterfinal round, rather than 10.
- This is the first season since Season 5 to not have a comedian or act that involves comedy in the first live show episode.
- This is the first season since Season 2 to not have a Wild Card act.
