Sheldon Riley was a singer act from Season 15 of America's Got Talent.  He was eliminated in the Quarterfinals.

Background

Sheldon Riley, 21, is far from being considered to fit within the constraints of the titles “singer”, “songwriter”, or “performer”. He is what you can only describe as a force, the perfect reminder that music is intended to be felt, and not just simply heard. Sheldon’s mesmerizing, emotional sound paired with his Avant-Garde, high fashion style have truly laid the foundation for a disruptive entry into the music industry. His style of music has been described as "dark pop", but this only scratches the surface of his creative capabilities. Intending to make an impact, his voice and unwavering stance against discrimination has resulted in being a frontline of difference in Australia. Although currently based in Sydney, his energy is not limited to being a mere droplet in Australian waters, he will, and already is, making waves worldwide.

Sheldon was a contestant on The Voice Australia in 2018 and 2019.

Season 15 Audition

Sheldon Riley's audition in Episode 1507 consisted of singing Billie Eilish's "idontwannabeyouanymore." Heidi Klum was not present, but Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell all voted yes, sending him to the Judge Cuts.

Judge Cuts

Sheldon Riley automatically advanced to the Quarterfinals without performing in Episode 1508, though his verdict was not televised.

Quarterfinals

Sheldon Riley's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1513 consisted of singing Kylie Minogue's "Can't Get You Out of My Head" via satellite from Luna Park in Sydney.  Sheldon did not receive enough votes to advance to the Semifinals in Episode 1514, eliminating him from the competition along with Annie Jones instead of Cristina Rae.
