Shemika Charles was a limbo dancer from Season 6 of America's Got Talent. She was eliminated in the Vegas Round. She returned six years later for Season 12, where she was eliminated in the Judge Cuts. She returned five years later for America's Got Talent: Extreme under the name Shemika Campbell.

Shemika Charles is a two-time Guinness World Record holder for Limbo Dancing. In 2016. she competed in Beijing, China where she won her 2nd Guinness World Record for "The Farthest Distance to Limbo under 12 inches." Her first record in 2010 still holds as the lowest limbo dancer in the world. The internet exploded when she broke another record to be the first person to limbo under a car. The press coverage circled the globe from the Today Show with Kathy and Hoda, The Huffington Post, The New York Post, Business Insider, Men's Fitness, Cosmopolitan Magazine to news outlets in India, United Kingdom, China, Kenya, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago and Australia, to name a few.
Shemika is a native of Trinidad and Tobago who now resides in Buffalo New York. The Mayor of Buffalo declared October 8th 2010, Shemika Charles Day in honor of her first Guinness World Record. Her native twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is not only the home of the Steel Pan – the only musical instrument invented in the 20th century, but it is also the birthplace of the Limbo Dance. Season 6 Audition[]
Shemika Charles's audition in Episode 608 consisted of limbo dancing underneath a low flaming limbo pole. Piers Morgan, Howie Mandel, and Sharon Osbourne all voted "Yes", sending her to the Vegas Round.
Vegas Round[]
Shemika Charles was one of the Judges' Favorites in the Vegas Round. She was sorted into the "Danger Acts" category. Her Vegas performance in Episode 611 was never televised, but her audition was not strong enough for the judges to send her to the Quarterfinals, eliminating her from the competition along with Kevin Shelley.
Season 12 Audition[]
Shemika Charles returned in Season 12. Her audition in Episode 1203 consisted of limbo dancing underneath a low pole, a short obstacle course (with a pole on her chin), and finally under a truck. Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes", sending Shemika to the Judge Cuts.
Season 12 Judge Cuts[]
Shemika Charles' Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1209 consisted of first limbo dancing under a flaming bar. Next, she balanced five plates on five poles (with one pole in her mouth) while limbo dancing under another pole. Shemika's performance was not strong enough for the judges to send her to the Quarterfinals, eliminating her from the competition along with Aileen George and Jay Jay Phillips.

Shemika Charles appeared with the last name of Campbell on the fifth season of the Italian competition series Tu Si Que Vales in 2018 [2]
AGT: Extreme Audition[]
Shemika Charles returned for America's Got Talent: Extreme. Her audition in Episode EX03 consisted of performing a fire limbo and setting a world record with a double vehicle limbo. After successfully earning the world record of limboing under the width of two cars, she then went under three limbo bars already lit on fire. Simon Cowell, Nikki Bella and Travis Pastrana all voted "Yes", sending her to the Superfan vote. However, she did not finish in the top two out of all of the accepted acts, eliminating her from the competition.
