Shermy D, also known as The Lyrical Master, was a rapper and dancer from Season 7 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated in the audition round.

Shermy D’s multi-musical talents captivate a crowd like magic. Shermy D is a true musical mastermind whose gifts emerged as a young child. This long, leggy, luscious break-dancing machine takes old school hip-hop to a new level. Once a member of local punk bands playing guitar and drums, Shermy D restyled himself as an emcee, rapping over pre-recorded music. Born in Miami, Florida and currently residing in Gainesville, Florida Shermy D puts on an extremely unique and highly entertaining performance. One of Shermy’s trademarks is the multiple layers of clothing he wears over his lanky six-foot-five frame. He peels off layers between songs with the help of his stage handler Electric V. Shermy D's music is creative, fun and the excitement he creates among his fans is contagious. [1]

Audition[]

Shermy D's audition in Episode 705 consisted of rapping "Got It" (possibly an original song - this part was not televised) and dancing on stage. Howie Mandel buzzed the act. At least two judges voted "No", eliminating Shermy D from the competition.
