Sirqus Alfon was a digital comedy trio from Season 12 of America's Got Talent. It was eliminated in the Judge Cuts.
Background[]
Sirqus Alfon consists of Emilio, Babham, and Ejve. They grew up in a small village abroad. They are a musical phenomenon trio mixing beatboxing, clowning, chaos and comedy to create a genre all of their own. They use digital technology together with their live audience to create a stage show of special technical capacity.
Sirqus Alfon has been touring since 2004 from Chinese theaters to refugee camps in Palestine to burlesque clubs in New York City. They have been working with amongst others, The Swedish National Touring Theatre, Cirkus Cirkör, and Clowns without Borders. Recently they became part of Follow the Rabbit's carefully selected roster of artists and now they are taking their concept on toward new adventures.[1]
Audition[]
Sirqus Alfon's audition in Episode 1205 consisted of moving on the floor as images from a top view displayed on a screen. Their movements portrayed an act resembling circus acrobatics such as lighting a torch, hand balancing, and rola-bola. Simon Cowell buzzed the act. Although Simon voted "No," Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Heidi Klum voted "Yes," sending the trio to the Judge Cuts.
Judge Cuts[]
Sirqus Alfon's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1210 consisted of first coaching the audience and judges to clap, wave, push, and pretend to play the violin to rhythmic music. Next, the trio played percussion music as the screen behind them synced the recorded audience movements to music. Mel B gave the act a standing ovation. The group's performance was not strong enough for the judges to send it to the Quarterfinals, eliminating it from the competition instead of The Pompeyo Family.
