Struck Boyz was a dance group in Season 8 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Quarterfinals.

Background[]

The Struck Boyz are a hip hop dance crew made up of seven boys ages 8 to 11 years old.  The boys have danced together since they were five years old. Each boys' dance skills vary from free style, ballroom, tutting, krumping, popping, locking, break dance and hip hop. The Struck Boyz currently study dance with singer and choreographer Frankie Zulferino. With Mr. Zulferino, the Struck Boyz have performed at the Highline Ballroom, NYC, and POP Explosion Tours at Rye Playland and the Encore Event Center at iPlay America. The Struck Boyz have performed at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Monsters Hip Hop Dance Convention. The Struck Boyz annually compete to win trophies, victory cups and prizes for their dance school, Star Struck Dance Studio, at numerous regional and international dance competitions throughout the United States.

Audition[]

The Struck Boyz' audition in Episode 804 consisted of dancing with a military theme to percussion music and "As Long as You Love Me." Howard SternHeidi KlumMel B, and Howie Mandel all voted "Yes," sending the group to the Vegas Round.








Vegas Round[]

Struck Boyz was one of thirty acts to advance straight to the Quarterfinals in New York without performing in Las Vegas in Episode 808.







Quarterfinals[]

Struck Boyz's Week 2 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 812 consisted of dancing as a group to Flo Rida's "Club Can't Handle Me," Justin Bieber's "Beauty and the Beat," and Usher's "Scream.' The group did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals in Episode 813, eliminating it from the competition along with the Aquanuts, instead of Innovative Force.
