Sunny Chatum was a comedian from Season 18 of America's Got Talent. She was eliminated in the Deliberations.
Background[]
Sunny claims to be from Paris, Texas and works on custom cars and trucks. He claims to have been inspired by Season 11 winner Grace VanderWaal to take up the ukulele.
Season 18 Audition[]
Sunny Chatum's audition in Episode 1808 consisted of planning to sing and play the ukulele. However, he consistently delayed himself from actually performing, talking to the judges about his "dream board", egg shakers and his choice of song. Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell all buzzed the act. He then revealed himself to be Brooklyn-based comedienne Krista Komondor. Although Heidi still voted "No", Howie, Sofia and Simon all changed their votes to "Yes", sending her to the next round.
Deliberations[]
Sunny (aka Krista) was not chosen as one of the 55 acts to advance to the Semifinals, eliminating her from the competition.
Season 19 Audition[]
Krista would later audition again as Katrina Manon in Season 19, but her audition was never televised. Her audition consisted of her performing a magic act. She advanced, but did not make it to the live shows.
