Terry Alan Crews (born July 30, 1968) has served as the host of America's Got Talent since Season 14. He also served as the host for Champions 1, Champions 2, Extreme, All-Stars and Fantasy League.
Background[]
A former NFL linebacker born in Flint, Michigan, Terry branched into acting playing roles in several sitcoms including Everybody Hates Chris and Are We There Yet? He also served as host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire from 2014 to 2015 and has also done many movies including The Expendables series.
He played the role of Terry Jeffords on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
In 2017, he was included among a group of people named as Time magazine's Person of the Year.

- Terry is the show's third African-American host. The first being Nick Cannon and the second being Tyra Banks.
- Terry gave his Golden Buzzer to group acts in 4 consecutive seasons (14-16), as well as America's Got Talent: Extreme, 2 of them being choir acts.
- He is the first person to give two Golden Buzzers to the same act (Detroit Youth Choir).
- Out of all the AGT hosts, Terry is the only one to host spin-off editions (he has hosted all five editions as of Fantasy League).
