The Gentlemen were a dance duo from Season 10 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Quarterfinals in the Judges' Choice.

Background[]

The Gentlemen consists of Filipino-American brothers Zach and Cameron, from Fairfield, California. Zach, the older of the two by three years, is more serious while Cameron likes to play around. They help their mother buy groceries and wash dishes. The two practice every day after school in their garage.

Audition[]

The Gentlemen's audition in Episode 1005 consisted of dancing together to Usher's "Caught Up." Howard SternHeidi KlumMel B, and Howie Mandel all voted "Yes," sending the duo to the Judge Cuts round.

Judge Cuts[]

The Gentlemen's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1011 consisted of dancing to Usher's "Bad Girl" together. The duo's performance was strong enough for the judges to send it to the Quarterfinals.

Quarterfinals[]

The Gentlemen's Week 1 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1012 consisted of dancing together to Pitbull and Ne-Yo's "Time of Our Lives." The Gentlemen finished in sixth, seventh, or eighth place in America's Vote. In the Dunkin' Save, they received fewer online votes than Samantha Johnson. In the Judges' Choice, although Howie Mandel voted for the duo, Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, and Mel B did not, eliminating The Gentlemen from the competition in Episode 1013 instead of Alondra Santos.

Trivia[]

  • The Gentlemen started a pattern in which an Asian act would get eliminated in the Judges Choice in the first week of Quarterfinals. They were followed by Hara (Season 11), Just Jerk (Season 12), Mochi (Season 13) and Feng E (Season 15).

After the Show[]

The Gentlemen competed on Season 2 of World of Dance, where they were eliminated in the audition round.
