The Jerusalem Youth Chorus were a choir from Season 19 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Deliberations.
Background[]
The Jerusalem Youth Chorus are a choral and dialogue youth programme for the youth of both Palestinian and Israeli youth in Jerusalem. The choir push back against the violence surrounding the world and reject war, occupation and terror by instead singing out for peace, justice, inclusion and equality for all. When asked what they would do with the million dollar prize if they were to win, they stated they would create more youth choruses where people could meet people who are different from them in the hope of inspiring change.
In 2017, they released their debut album entitled Home.
In 2022, they released a cover of "A Million Dreams" from The Greatest Showman and an original song entitled "Reason to Love".
Audition[]
The Jerusalem Youth Chorus' performance in Episode 1907 consisted of singing Phillip Phillips' "Home". All 4 judges voted "Yes", sending them to the next round.
Deliberations[]
The Jerusalem Youth Chorus were not selected to advance to the Quarterfinals, eliminating them from the competition.
