The Lasalle Brothers was a juggling duo from Season 3 of America's Got Talent. The duo was likely eliminated in the Vegas Round.

Background[]

The Lasalle Brothers consisted of twin brothers Marty and Jake Lasalle.

Audition[]

The Lasalle Brothers's audition in Episode 307 consisted of dancing, and then both of them juggling while one stood on top of the other. Sharon Osbourne and at least one other judge voted "Yes", sending the duo to the Vegas Round.

Vegas Round[]

It is unknown whether or not The Lasalle Brothers were present during the Vegas Round as the duo was never seen, but even if it was, it did not advance to the Quarterfinals.

After the Show[]

As of 2010, Marty LaSalle still lives in a trailer at Damrosch Park, working for the circus in guest relations and business development — he exercises infrequently and has not juggled publicly in 16 months. Jake, meanwhile, is in his second year of medical school at the University of California — he chose the institution because a top training ground, the San Francisco Circus Center, was across the street, though he, too, now avoids tossing things in the air and catching them.

They had the same genes but different dreams, and that spelled the untimely end of their juggling duo act. The brothers claimed they were earning $2,600 a week — combined — from the circus, and double that from regular side gigs. Now, Marty makes about half as much as he used to, Jake is racking up student loans. [1]
