The Lollipop Girls was a burlesque dance group from Season 4 of America's Got Talent. It was eliminated in the Quarterfinals.
Background[]
The Lollipop Girls are a performance dance troupe based in San Diego, CA. The girls have entertained crowds all over San Diego, Los Angeles and Las Vegas since their debut in October 2003. The Lollipop Girls are available for public and private venue performances, special events, modeling, go-go dancing and promotional assistance. [1]
Audition[]
The Lollipop Girls' audition in Episode 410 consisted of burlesque dancing with chairs and pink boas. David Hasselhoff and at least one other judge voted "Yes", sending the group to the Vegas Round.
Vegas Round[]
The Lollipop Girls appeared without performing in the Vegas Round. The group's audition was not strong enough for the judges to send it to the Quarterfinals, eliminating it from the competition in Episode 411.
Wild Card[]
The Lollipop Girls was one of eight acts given a second chance in the competition after Simon Cowell expressed that he was unhappy with some of the eliminations the judges made. As a result, the group was sent to the Quarterfinals.
Quarterfinals[]
The Lollipop Girls' Quarterfinals performance in Episode 419 consisted of burlesque dancing as a group to Shirley Bassey's "Hey Big Spender." The Lollipop Girls did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals, eliminating the group from the competition in Episode 420 instead of Barbara Padilla.
