The Professional Regurgitator was a regurgitator from Season 10 of America's Got Talent. He finished the competition in 4th place. Stevie returned for America's Got Talent: The Champions, where he was eliminated in the Preliminaries.

Background[]

Known as "The Professional Regurgitator," Stevie Starr spent the first eighteen years of his life in a children's home in Glasgow, and it was there that he discovered his own very special talent. "I think I was about four when I started swallowing my pocket money", says Stevie, "and then I tried other things like going out into the garden and swallowing a bumble bee and then bringing him back and letting him fly away."

He has since brought his talent to numerous television shows around the world including "Britain's Got Talent," on which he progressed to the Semifinal, [1] and "La France a un incroyable talent", where he placed 4th overall.

Stevie previously auditioned, untelevised, for Season 6 of AGT. He received at least 3 "Yes” votes sending him to the Vegas round however he was eliminated before the Vegas Round or withdrew.

Audition[]

Stevie Starr's audition in Episode 1002 consisted of swallowing four numbered coins. He then "regurgitated" them on demand, first a single coin and then two coins at once. He then swallowed a light bulb, regurgitated the last coin, and then released the light bulb. He soon swallowed powdered sugar, drank a glass of water and gurgled it in his mouth, and finally regurgitated the still dry sugar onto a plate Nick Cannon was holding. Howard SternHeidi KlumMel B, and Howie Mandel all voted "Yes," sending Stevie to the Judge Cuts Round.

Judge Cuts[]

Stevie Starr's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1011 consisted of swallowing a plum tomato and a large blade. He regurgitated the blade and the tomato in two halves. He next swallowed five different coins labeled with different letters. He regurgitated the coins in an order to spell a word. He finally swallowed a clip and regurgitated the coin stuck in the clip. Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel gave the act standing ovations. Stevie's performance was strong enough for the judges to send him to the Quarterfinals.

Quarterfinals[]

The Professional Regurgitator's Week 3 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1016 consisted of swallowing Heidi Klum's ring, a lock, and its key. He then regurgitated the ring inside the lock. Because he "had trouble" regurgitating the key, he swallowed a pool ball, and then pushed up the key and ball. The key successfully unlocked the lock. Howard Stern, Heidi, and Howie Mandel all gave the act standing ovations. The Professional Regurgitator received enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals in Episode 1017 along with Oz Pearlman.

Semifinals[]

The Professional Regurgitator's Week 2 Semifinals performance in Episode 1020 consisted of swallowing smoke from two cups, swallowing liquid soap, and water to blow bubbles. He then exhaled half of the smoke into a large bubble. He then swallowed and regurgitated a raw egg. Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel all gave him standing ovations. The Professional Regurgitator received enough votes to be sent to the Finals in Episode 1021 instead of Alicia Michilli.

Finals[]

The Professional Regurgitator's Finals performance in Episode 1022 consisted of swallowing 5 push pins and a strong magnet. He then asked Heidi to pick a number to bring up, and she chose 4. He then brought up the 4 pins on the magnet and then the proceding one left over. He then swallowed flammable gas, and had Nick Cannon light a lighter, in which he created a big explosion by blowing the gas which was put in a bubble at the lighter. Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel all gave him standing ovations.

Finale[]

For the finale in Episode 1023, The Professional Regurgitator performed with Penn & Teller. The Regurgitator swallowed a small canister, a goldfish, and the canister's lid separately. He then regurgitated a canister with the goldfish inside it. The Regurgitator was revealed to have reached the Top 5 instead of Uzeyer Novruzov. The Regurgitator was revealed to have finished the competition in 4th place in front of The CraigLewis Band, but behind Paul Zerdin, Drew Lynch, and Oz Pearlman.

After Season 10[]

Stevie Starr competed for the third time on Das Supertalent (Germany's Got Talent) in 2018. He was the season's winner. Also competing on that season was Season 9 act JD Anderson.

The Champions Preliminary[]

Stevie Starr returned for The Champions.  Stevie's performance in Episode TC04 consisted of regurgitating an unscrewed bolt and screw that he screwed while inside him and a cherry tomato and small blade that he sliced while inside him.  Simon Cowell buzzed the act.  Stevie did not receive enough votes to advance to the night's Top 3, eliminating him from the competition. 

After the Show[]

Stevie Starr competed on Romania's Got Talent in 2019. [2]

In the same year, he also auditioned for Croatia's Got Talent, where he finished in second place.

Trivia[]

  • Stevie Starr appeared on the 2010 season of Britain's Got Talent, where he proceeded to the Semifinals before being eliminated. He has also appeared on the German, Italian, Czech, and French versions of Got Talent as well. On the French version, he received the first Golden Buzzer of the show's history, from judge Gilbert Rozon. He finished in fourth place.
  • Stevie has competed on the German Version of Got Talent twice, the first time in Season 4 he reached the Final and came seventh overall and the second time in Season 12, he won.
  • Stevie has appeared on more Got Talent shows around the world than anyone else, with eight as of 2019.
  • For every live show, Stevie was in the ninth position in performance order.
  • He is the highest placing act that has knowingly been accepted in different seasons. (Season 6 Vegas round) (Season 10 4th place)
  • Heidi Klum has mentioned this was one of her favorite acts of the season. She, along with Howie Mandel has given him a standing ovation every time he performed.
    • Furthermore, when Stevie returned for The Champions, Heidi named him her favorite act of all time.
