Texas State Strutters were a dance group act from Season 3 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Quarterfinals.
Background
The Strutters of Texas State University have long been associated with pageantry and excellence in performance for Texas State intercollegiate athletics. Since their inception in 1960, the Strutters boast over 3000 alumnae who have helped to make the organization what it is today.
The organization was founded by Mrs. Barbara Guinn Tidwell, renowned as a legend in drill team history. Mrs. Tidwell served as director/choreographer for 37-years. The second director/ choreographer and former Strutter captain is Ms. Susan Angell-Gonzalez who is recognized as one of the leading authorities in the field of drill and precision dance. Ms. Angell-Gonzalez served as director/choreographer for 16 years. The current director/ choreographer is former Strutter and Texas State Dance Faculty, Mrs. Tammy Fife. The Strutters organization is considered one of the premier dance teams in America.

In 1998 “Strutters Always” became an official Texas State University alumnae chapter. Goals of “Strutters Always” include communicating with alumnae and friends and supporting the Strutters Organization. The Board of Directors assists with alumni reunions and Strutters special events. 1

Texas State Strutters' audition in Episode 306 consisted of dancing to "September". Although Sharon Osbourne voted "No", Piers Morgan and David Hasselhoff both voted "Yes", sending the group to the Vegas Round.
