    • Watching that new preview video on Light Balance's page, it looks like that woman with the changing suit patterns I posted on Page 1 might be a part of their act.

Also, I spotted Fatt Matt Alaeddine, who was a reject on Canada's Got Talent. He'll be on this season, too.

    • Quote from Simon in an interview http://deadline.com/2017/05/simon-cowell-americas-got-talent-emmy-idol-distant-memory-1202105395/ :

He pointed to one girl, his “golden buzzer” as he says, whose story and talent in this new season gives him goosebumps.

If you look at who's performing tonight, there seems like a really obvious candidate. And it's a singer... We shall see.

    • I'm really not liking Simon's GBs on AGT so far. He goes with story first, then talent. He should know it should be the other way around.

I'd really like to see Simon as a coach on The Voice one season. See how he operates there, where stories don't matter (at least not in the first audition).

Edna & Mia Moore: Impressive, but I am not sure where else you can go from there.

Diavolo: Great job incorporating a new twist to their dancing!

Chase Goerhing: Good, but it takes a lot for a white singer-songwriter guitarist to impress me.

Jimmy Slonina: That was kinda stupid.

      Artyon & Paige: Decent dancing.

Nick Uhas: It was undeniably cool, but I am not sure if this is an act.

      Billy & Emily England: Incredible!

Angelica Hale: Why wasn't SHE the Golden Buzzer? She was great.

Azeri Brothers: Super dangerous and intense, I kinda loved it.

Colin Cloud: Not bad mentalism, but there are a fair number of variables that poke holes in his abilities.

Mandy Harvey: Ooh, look! Another singer/ukelelist Golden Buzzer act, but unlike last year's winner, she is far more talented, even if I wasn't really over the moon with her voice.

Also this is the second GB act to be singing oriented. If the remaining three aren't singers then I think it would be cool!

    • My Thoughts:
Edna & Mia Moore: It's an interesting talent, but, like Jokgu, there seems to be very little else that can be done with this act from here. I expect a cut in the Judges Cuts.

Diavolo: Probably my favorite act of the night: incredibly death-defying and fascinating to watch? Count me in!

Chase Goehring: He's alright. The rapping was a nice touch, but he's forgettable otherwise.

Jimmy Slonina: It was stupid, but I couldn't help but laugh. I would've thrown my iPad out if he made it through, though.

Artyon & Paige: I agree with Simon on the song choice, but it was fine otherwise. I felt he was a little harsh, but they handled it extremely well.

Nick Uhas: I absolutely love this act, but I have a feeling we won't see him again after this. If we do, though, he better show something awesome.

Pelican212: It was cute and safe, and not much else. That name makes me vomit a little in my mouth, though.

Billy & Emily England: eyyyy bgt fans what's good I still love this act, even after seeing it on BGT a few years ago. They have the potential to go far.

Angelica Hale: Her voice seems impossible: she's so young, yet she's one of the best child singers we've seen on the show? Wtf?

Azeri Brothers: I found myself cringing through the whole thing. Not a huge fan, since I couldn't find much charm in it, like past sideshow acts on the show.

Colin Cloud: A little overexposed honestly. There were a few holes in an otherwise fantastic trick, but I'm intrigued to see what he does next anyways.

Mandy Harvey: Despite being another singer/songwriter/ukelelist golden buzzer act, I liked this a lot more than Grace, honestly. She's very talented and she's bound to go far.

    • My Thoughts:

Edna & Mia Moore: I know they won't make it far but i still like the act.

Diavolo: One of the best acts of the night and should at least make Semifinals for now.

Chase Goehring: He's alright. The rapping made it better but either than that it was a singer so...

Artyon & Paige: I agree with Simon on the song choice and everything else about their act. So Simon said it all for me.

Nate Uhas I thought he would be better but it was still alright, let's see what he does next.

Pelican212: Not that good to me, NEXT!

Billy & Emily England: They were good that's all i will say.

Angelica Hale: I was joking about she is the next Grace VanderWaal but she was good and can make it far even know i don't want that to happen.

Azeri Brothers: I like danger acts so it was good for me, can't wait to see what they do next.

Colin Cloud: My favorite act of the night! He was good and should make it far. One of my favorite acts already for this season!

Mandy Harvey: Another Golden Buzzer singer of course. She is alright but to me not the best but i will give it to her since she's deaf.

Oscar Hernandez: Did not expect that, kinda love it though.

Elena and Sasha: Pretty dangerous. Yeah I approve.

Shemika Charles: She is back and she was pretty awesome.

Kechi Okwuchi: My favourite singer this auditions episode. Absolutely heartbreaking story, but she was still great.

Benchavan Shale [BUZZ]: Good for her, but she was pretty bad in all honesty.

Tony and Jordan: Absolutely brilliant! My favourite act this episode and one of my favourites of the season so far.

In the Stairwell: Great a capella group.

Daniel Ferguson: Brian Hull may never be on AGT, but this guy is still a decent enough impressionist. Let's hope he doesn't do the same voices with the same song like Danny Beard!

Pompeyo Family Dogs: I don't get it. Yeah they are cute, but I don't really see them as overly brilliant.

Dancing Pumpkin Man: Okay I guess.

Christian Guardino: Another damned singer gets the Golden Buzzer. YAY!! In all honestly he is pretty good, but I am sick of singers getting these Golden Buzzers.

Also I am really sad to hear about Brandon. For a second I thought they meant the American Idol contestant "Brandon Rogers" who was 12th place in season 6. But no it's apparently another singer from an American singing/talent competition who auditioned in a number divisible by six. Gotta wonder if they are going to air his audition or not. At the very least, there will be a tag of him at the end of the auditions. Still very sad.

      Oscar Hernandez: Not the best.

Elena and Sasha: It was alright, let's see what they do next.

Shemika Charles: She is back and she was good.

Kechi Okwuchi: She has a good voice but like i said no more singers!

Joan Colee: How did she even make it? That's all i'm saying about her.

Tony and Jordan: Favorite act of the episode by far! They should make it far!

In the Stairwell: Ugh more singers....

Daniel Ferguson: Better than all the singers.

Pompeyo Family Dogs: They could be the sleepers of the season meaning they will make it far but no one talks about them. (Olate Dogs 2.0)

Dancing Pumpkin Man: He deserves another chance, lets see what he does next!

Christian Guardino: Once again another singer getting the Golden Buzzer. It's getting old, if this keeps happening then take the GB off.

        Loading editor
    • Tony and Jordan is my favorite act of the night. Comedy and illusions. Just really great and entertaining! They should make it far.

Pompeyo Family Dogs are sleepers like Xboy said. If they keep doing tricks like that, America will love it. America loves dogs! Look at Olate Dogs from Season 7.

Disappointed with Howie Mandel. His Golden Buzzer pick is a singer of course. Christian Guardino is a good singer, but enough with singers! Give the Golden Buzzer to a variety act! Anything besides a singer.

Also, it will be interesting to see what Dancing Pumpkin does next. I will be surprised if he makes it past Judge Cuts, but it'll be fun to see what happens with him!

    • I found an interesting 2014 article about Dancing Pumpkin Man: http://www.wnyc.org/story/sideshow-story-behind-internets-greatest-halloween-video-ever/

The guy says when a call came from America's Got Talent (in 2014), he had hoped they were interested in featuring his stand-up on the show (he had submitted audition tapes). But they were only in it for the Pumpkin Dance, and guess what? He turned them down. "I will not ruin the sanctity of that character," he told them. "If you try to re-create it, it's just, you know, dumb."

      Looks like he came around.

    • Tony & Jordan weren't perfect. You could see the umbrellas in their hand before they were supposed to snag it out of the screen.

Also, do people here really think Daniel's Simon impression was spot on? That's the top YouTube comment right now, with over 1,000 people agreeing with the poster. Jesus Christ.

        Loading editor
    • I couldn't even hear Daniel's Simon impression over the audience yelling. This is why I kinda hate the AGT audience sometimes.

Also yes they were imperfect, but YOU try doing what they do. There is bound to be a screw-up or too.

        Loading editor
    • Didn't get to watch all of the auditions so far (missed episode last night Dx) but I watched a few clips, so here's what I think:

      • Tony and Jordan were my favorites last night.
      • Dancing Pumpkin Man...I can't hate him because this is the same guy who did THIS iconic video, but it was sorta stupid and I'm not expecting much else from him this year.
      • Oscar Hernandez]..it was pretty good, but I couldn't tell it was supposed to be a comedy act until the audition was actually over.
      • Joan Colee was stupid.
      • Daniel Ferguson is alright. Outside of the Simon impression (which was actually pretty good), he's just another Craig Ball. Except hopefully this time his abilities aren't blown completely out of proportion.
      • Christian Guardino is a great singer, but another GB singer? Really?

Also, is it just me, or is "hi hi, it's Ty Ty, i wanna die die" a meme in the AGT youtube comments section now? I keep seeing these kinds of comments all over the place in the Season 12 Auditions clips now.

        Loading editor
    • I saw a lot of people doing these so I'm just gonna put my thoughts on each act of last night.

Oscar Hernandez - His performance was good, but I don't think he's gonna make it too much further.

Elena and Sasha - I won't be surprised if they make it to quarterfinals or semifinals.

Shemika Charles - The car was surprising; ironically she "set the bar high" for other acts.

Kechi - She sang pretty well, but the main thing that might get her far is her backstory.

Joan Colee - Wait, did she actually make it through?

Benchavan Shale - Every audition episode's gotta have at least one joke act.

Tony and Jordan - Probably my favorite act out of 1203.

In the Stairwell - They were good and at least it wasn't just a regular singing act.

Wyatt Gray - While he wasn't the best, he didn't deserve the total silence from the audience.

Daniel Ferguson - Wasn't the best, but still pretty good and deserved to go through.

Dancing Pumpkin Man - Knew him from the video that went viral a while ago, and, while he did go through, since only 80 acts go to judge cuts, there's bound to be some who were supposed to go through that don't in the end.

Christian Guardino - You can always sort of tell when someone's gonna get the Golden Buzzer because they are at the end of the episode. While he was a great singer, he was just that, a singer, who got the Golden Buzzer. Again. (The next GB better not be a singer.)

        Loading editor
    • I just want to say it has been three years since the GB has been properly introduced. All three times Howie has picked a non-joke act. No offense or anything but I kinda enjoyed it when David Walliams picked silly joke acts for his Golden Buzzer. It was unneeded, but it was still entertaining and more interesting than giving it another generic singer. Also I want to say that that is the seventh singer out of the previous eight auditions Golden Buzzers that have been for singers... I need a drink.

        Loading editor
    • Actually I believe Howie did choose Drew Lynch, a comedian back in 2015

        Loading editor
    • Howie did pick Drew Lynch as his GB

        Loading editor
    • Yeah I know. But I was referring to the previous season. Four of the five acts were singers, and three out of the three acts so far are singers too.

Also Christian is probably going to win because Drew got 2nd and Grace got 1st. Weird how the silliest AGT judge has the best batting average when it comes to Golden Buzzers.

Nine out the fourteen GB acts have been singers, unless you exclude The Hudson Brothers and Dustin's Dojos because I sure as hell don't. Then it's eleven. The only ones that aren't singers are Drew Lynch, Freckled Sky, and Dorothy Williams. Note that I am not including the GBs that the guest judges included.

Yeah, I know. I was partially kidding, but it is still kinda wild to me that the "joke" judge is more consistent with Golden Buzzers than anyone else.

That being said, yeah I do think that Christian could advance to the Semi-Finals, but no further IMO.

Well now that Celine's been spoiled, looks like she won't be the GB this week. That's good. I wonder if they'll put both her and Angelica into the live shows.

Here's a poorly created image I made, including the acts seen in next week's preview who we haven't yet identified. Of course, there's a chance that at least one of them won't even be televised even though they're being included in the preview. • We have a deaf singer get the GB, we have a formerly blind singer get the GB, now all we need is a mute singer to get one and we're in business! That would be literally the only way I can justify them giving another singer the GB.

    • I wonder if it's possible that Brandon Rogers may have been Heidi's Golden Buzzer or if they will be revealing her pick later. I believe they showed all the judges' Golden Buzzer picks first and then the host's last year so that is unusual.

    • Thoughts on Auditions #4

Greater Works: Pretty good but I am not really into choirs.

Jay Jay Phillips: I wanted to like it but it didn't gel for me.

Light Balance: Holy crap! A non-singer Golden Buzzer act! It does exist. But yeah, I loved Fighting Gravity and Team iLuminate and Siro-A in years prior and I think I am gonna love this.

      Anthony Penoso: Awful.

Just Jerk Crew: Awful name. Great moves.

Celine Tam: I seemed like she was really staged, I dunno.

Men with Pans: Kill me with fire.

Robert Nash: Uncanny impression, horrible overall act.

      Godfathers: Pretty good.

      Tom London: Terrific trick!

Bello Nock: I feel it's kinda limiting. I think I will have to wait to see what he does next.

Darcy Callus: I like his voice.

Evie Clair: Okay, so she is not really amazing, but I am going through my own tough time (it's personal) and she really made me cry. So yeah I guess I like her, but maybe if I wasn't going through something then it would be different.

    • My Opinions on Episode 4

DaNell Daymon & Greater Works: They've certainly got energy, but it seemed like they're leaning solely on the (fairly talented) soloist here. They could go to the live shows, but who knows.
Jay Jay Phillips: Eh, fine. I'm indifferent to it.
Light Balance: I heckin' love these guys, especially since I saw them on BGT a while ago. They deserve that Golden Buzzer to no end, and I'm relieved Tyra didn't pull the same shit Nick did last year.
Just Jerk: It was certainly good...but there was something about it that I wasn't crazy about. Maybe it was the serious lack of movement for a dance group? I don't know, something about it bothered me.
Celine Tam: She's great, but she's gonna have some serious competition with a certain other 9 year-old female singer.
Men with Pans: Christ, I didn't know AGT was NSFW! Joking aside, it was strange and stupid, yet I couldn't help be enamored with the concept. Though, I have to point out, the KriStef Brothers already beat them to the "overtly homosexual acrobatic duo", no matter how they did it.
The Godfathers: That was damn insane! It was great, and I wanna see more.
Tom London: Damnit, I can't decide who my favorite magician is this season! First it was Will Tsai, then Tony and Jordan came along, now this guy?
Bello Nock: Death-defying, but I don't know where else this can go. Also, it's notable to point out that his brother was part of the AeroSphere Aerial Balloon Show: not that I care that he was part of the most boring Top 60 act in Season 8 anyways.
Darcy Callus: Good, but forgettable. Probably fodder for the Judges Cuts.
Evie Clair: Pretty good, but not the best singer as of now. I would say Christian Guardino or Angelica Hale the best "singer" singer so far.

I think I've decided that I like Tyra. Before I explain, hear me out for a sec. She may not be nearly as entertaining, nor does she have as much showmanship as Nick, but she knows how to connect with the contestants more. Staged or not, she acts very supportive towards them, even going as far as to ease them in sometimes (Yoli Mayor, Evie Clair).

Also, praise her for having the best Audition Golden Buzzer pick in a while.

        Loading editor
    • I am going to assume that "Jerk" means something else in Korean because here it is a terrible name and I would not surprised if they actually change it by the Judge Cuts.

Also, I love how Tyra is not really making an impression with me, but she still picked the best Golden Buzzer act so far this season.

        Loading editor
    • Well, a "jerk" technically also means "a quick, sharp, sudden movement", but yeah, it's a weird name.

I feel like Tyra is trying really hard, which I honestly really appreciate. There were times I felt like Nick didn't really care, but then again, he had been doing it a long time.

Based on that black guy's facial expressions (the younger one), is he a comedian or a singer? Kind of seems like he's telling a joke to me. The older black guy reminds me of someone. Could the woman I've been wanting to ID so bad (the tiger one) be associated with Oskar & Gaspar? They do stuff like this.

Although Erik and I debated it in chat yesterday, I wouldn't find it troublesome to add all of those montaged acts at the beginning to the "Accepted" section. It seemed like a success montage to me. I see no reason why Maral the contortionist wouldn't have made it if she already received at least two Yeses.

I looked up Cecil after IDing him and I found videos of him stripping and doing some mime act, similar to Tape Face but not as funny. Good chance he was a reject.

Wait a minute, why are they taking a week off for the auditions? It does not make sense.

Can you confirm with a snapshot? And can you confirm whether the judges voted her through in the Auditions or not? She might have been "accepted" but not quite in the Top 80 for the Judge Cuts.

    • The AGT Auditions Twitter tends to follow the acts that get on TV, so that confirms a lot of the ones above!

Right now, it would be matching the five Xboy posted (minus Sirqus Alfon... don't remember seeing anyone like them in any preview) to the screencaps I tried connecting them to.

    • I'm still predicting the opera singer to get the GB, but I could see Oskar & Gaspar getting it as a possibility.

They use Heidi in their act and the other judges marvel at how amazing the show was, and then they're like "Heidi it really was amazing you should press your golden buzzer" (assuming she doesn't actually see any of it), and she's like "okay" and presses the Golden Buzzer.

But anyway, I don't think Oskar & Gaspar is the name of a duo. I think it's the name of a company or something more or less. So I don't know how they selected their representatives to go on the show.

        Loading editor
    • I actually think they'll save the Golden Buzzer for the last auditions episode. I feel like hyping up that Golden Buzzer is exactly what the producers would want to do, and they haven't done that with this Tuesday's episode.

    • Completely agree. I do not think that they will have the final audition episode have basically no tension from using up all the GBs.

    • If it's not this week then I predict Marisa McKaye will get it in the final audition episode.

I also predict that either her or Brandon Rogers will be the final televised audition of the season. Brandon Rogers would be fitting. Showing him in full and then ending the episode on a somber note by letting the viewers know that he has since passed away.

      Henry Richardson: Pretty good.

Maxim Popazov: I like these very simplistic danger acts and he was very good.

Maria Popazov: Alright, but I was kinda bored by it.

The Masqueraders: Terrific. No other word to describe them.

Johnny Manuel: Wow! I know that he is just another generic singer but he is great.

Sirqus Alfon: Honestly... I am kinda not sure. Part of me wants to love it but another part of me kinda hated the execution.

Final Draft: Yeah they were good.

Oskar & Gaspar: I do usually like acts like this, but having a model like Heidi just stand there and do nothing, gotta be honest, feels incredibly limiting, so I kinda don't really like it.

Vinny Grosso: Didn't like the trick. Too many variables and too little to make me impressed.

Carlos De Antonios: AMAZING! A star is born. In fact...

Henry Richardson: He was good and another magician to add to this season!

Maxim Popazov: He was good, looking forward to see more.

Maria Popazov: She was alright, but like others it was not the best and boring.

The Masqueraders: They are good, that's all i will say.

Johnny Manuel: He is good but just another singer.

Sirqus Alfon: Hopefully they can show all the haters what they are really about. I get them but alot don't for some reason.

      Final Draft: NEXT!

Oskar and Gaspar: They are good but they need to do more and there is someone that i won't say on this site that thinks they will win already. LMFAO.

Sara Carson & Hero: They deserve to at least make it to the Judge Cuts. Lets see what they do next.

Eric Jones (aka Smoothini): I will say it again he is GOOD, getting montaged shouldn't effect him at all. One of my favorite magicians this season.

Xavier Mortimer: Got montaged but he is a magician so everything is good with him.

Vinny Grosso: Even know he is a magician i wasn't really enjoying the trick. So far the worst magician of the season.

Carlos De Antonis: Not amazing at all, another singer and this time it's Opera. I don't like Opera at all. He needs to get eliminated as soon as possible.

    • I'm actually agreeing more with Xboy on Carlos this time. I don't think he was that great. Typical opera audition song and he was not the best that's done it. Overdone, not a fan of him. I like his gayness though.

    • Be nice. He's my first Golden Buzzer!

    • My Thoughts:

Henry Richardson: It was a good trick, if a little too simple. I'd take him over Kadan Bart Rockett on any day of the week, though.

Maxim Popazov: It was surprisingly simple for a danger/hand balancing act, but this kind of simplicity was simultaneously intense enough to be entertaining.

Maria Popazov: I liked it a lot, actually. This is good contortion, but contortionist acts don't usually do well unless you have a bow.

The Masqueraders: Linkin' Bridge and The Texan Tenors had a weird love child. Joking aside, it was good, but nothing amazing.

Sara Carson & Hero: I liked it a lot! We seem to be getting a ton of animal acts this season (we're at 5 now I believe), and this is the best so far. Maybe it's BGT syndrome, maybe it's a coincidence.

Johnny Manuel: He's the best <<singer>> singer on the show: he doesn't have much of a heartbreaking story, just pure talent. He was terrific.

Sirqus Alfon: It was quirky, fun, the acrobats are charismatic, and it reminded me a lot of the Sideway Scenes from Whose Line Is It Anyway? It was really cool to look at and it was purely entertaining. They could be a major dark horse if Simon lets up.

Final Draft: Pretty good, but I don't remember much of them now.

Oskar and Gaspar: I absolutely adored it for its visual prowess and presentation, but is it an act? Is it talent? Can more be done with this? They have to find a good way to answer these questions, or they're stuck as Sila Sveta.

Unfortunately, I missed both Eric Jones and Xavier Mortimer. I'm pissed, because I remember watching Eric on Fool Us and I absolutely wanted to see Xavier tonight, praying he would redeem himself from his fuck-up two seasons ago. Lemme know if you guys can find any videos of them, or just tell me what they did, because I haven't found any videos of them yet.

Vinny Grosso: Yet another familiar face from Fool Us, but it wasn't amazing. Maybe it was because I already saw the trick on the aforementioned show, but it wasn't very impressive. Among him, Will Tsai, Tony and Jordan, Colin Cloud, Xavier Mortimer, Eric Jones, and Henry Richardson, Tom London, he's the weakest magician so far.

Carlos De Antonis: I'm gonna be 100% honest: I didn't love it. I'm a musician with perfect pitch (fun fact) and, listening to it) he was off pitch throughout a good chunk of the performance. His voice is pretty spectacular (albeit a bit wobbly), but his pitch is where he falters for me. Still, I love his personality: he has a lot of spunk.

Well, with one more audition episode left, we're gonna have to start narrowing down our favorite acts as of now, right? So, that said, let's have a little poll: who would you have used the Golden Buzzer on by now?

        Loading editor
    • I have a good ability to tell correct pitch as well. I remember a few years back I took a quiz testing my ability and I got a perfect score. That's why people like you and me need to be the ones judging these shows instead, instead of everyday fans who have no idea what they're talking about and most of the time just go on looks or sob story.

It's almost a crime he got so little time. I hope we see him in Judge Cuts. He's got a great name too.

    • I noticed that the order AGT Auditions followed the acts, this week anyway, was mostly identical to the order in which they appeared on the show.

One of their newest follows is Mirror Image. They could be on next time.

    • Here we go. That astronaut girl is doing some aerial thing. Those two guys are probably Mirror Image. Oh and look, we got another Village People thing going on.

    • I'm guessing the two guys to the right of the multimedia shadows are Mirror Image?

Speaking of which, someone should ask Galih Montana if he's gonna be seen next episode. That shadow could be him.

    • This does make me wonder, though: are any of these acts Heidi's golden buzzer?

Chances are I'm wrong and Sammulous/Marisa McKaye/other less important singer is the GB, but none of the acts above–save for Mirror Image–look like musical acts.

Also: we only have one comedian in the running right now. Quickly, send help!

    • I haven't hit my "Golden Buzzer" yet this season. last season I hit my Golden Buzzer on episode 1 on Tape Face.

    • I don't know if I pushed it last season, but this season my GB act is Tony and Jordan.

    • My GB this year is Carlos.

To quote David Walliams, "it's not always about the voice, it's about personality too".

Maybe Heidi would get to use her Golden Buzzer during judge cuts. So eight acts would go through during one of the judge cut episodes

    • Not trying to sound awful or anything, but I kinda want that to happen that way it's not another generic singer that is going to win and if he is out of the competition then someone else more deserving can take up the slot. However, I do not think so.

    • Just finished watching most of 1205. I was on vacation on Tuesday so I wasn't able to watch it then, but I started it at like 8:30 pm and wasn't able to get through the whole thing. I'll finish it up when they show the rerun tomorrow. lol

    • Will there be 2 judge cuts episodes the first week?

    • No I took a look at my calendar. All four Judge Cut episodes will have their own week. Everything is going according to plan.

It only means that AGT is on longer.

The new episode's not airing for more than a week, so I imagine we won't get much news until next weekend.

That was me. So far they haven't followed anybody noteworthy, except Mirror Image who will be on next time, and some bubble magician named Blaise Ryndes who I don't remember seeing in any preview.

    • Does this mean he could possibly be disqualified from the competition?

    • I'd rather NOT read that article because I prefer NOT to know how magicians do their tricks.

That's the thing though. The article is claiming that Will ISN'T a real magician. That his televised act was actually done with visual effects after being filmed.

    • Then how do you explain the judges/audience reactions to the trick if it was all done in post?

    • Curious Poker Chip wrote: Then how do you explain the judges/audience reactions to the trick if it was all done in post?

Exactly. Plus, it's just as feasible that the recording on the screen was somewhat modified. But again, that would have been filmed before the performance, not in post-editing. Of course it is deceptive, but that's how magic tricks are. I don't buy that the producers purposefully modified the magic after the performance since the audience clearly loved it.

Questions of the integrity of the show come all the time. Yes, sometimes the producers do some mean things. They may edit performers to look bad, limit their creative freedom, or push certain agendas. But that doesn't change why I watch the show: to see some true talent and see people step up to the plate.

Very much agree. Regardless of the integrity of the show, I also enjoy watching to find out about talent (American or not) that I otherwise wouldn't know about.  For instance I probably wouldn't have heard about Tape Face last year if it weren't for the show.

    • The AGT Auditions page has done their next batch of following.

Who I thought was Galih Montana is actually Canion Shijirbat, a former runner-up on Mongolia's Got Talent. Not really a magician like HARA was either. More like Kenichi, I think.

The father/son acrobats are Danylo and Oskar (so many Oskar/Oscars this season).

Harrison Greenbaum might also be appearing next episode since he's also been recently followed, along with Angelina Green.

There's also a pole dancer/acrobat called Aileen George.

The page also followed a group called Brobots & Mandroidz (probably dancers) and a guy going by the name of Yosein Chi, who I am pretty sure is the younger of Bandbaz Brothers. He could be the guy in the bottom left of the screencap I posted.

We're also getting another returning act, as the village people puppet act are season 3 rejects The Quiddlers. [1]

Also, off topic but does anyone know what the song Men with Pans used in their audition was? It's been in my head.

    • Alright.

I'm currently making pages for all the newly identified acts. Soon after my last post I IDed both the dance group (German Cornejo Dance Company) and the sword guy (Vispi Kasad).

We also have one of the Bandbaz Brothers coming back.

Even though there's no news of Marisa, Sammulous, or Matt showing up next episode, I'm still leaving them under the "Upcoming Acts" section since they were all previously seen in AGT promos.

    • Yeah I kinda suspected that. This means he will be the first guest judge at the beginning of the Judge Cuts to not have a name that starts with "N" (Neil Patrick Harris and Ne-Yo).
