Timez 2 was a vocal duo from Season 4 of America's Got Talent. It was possibly eliminated in the Vegas Round.
Background[]
Brothers Jamar and Lamar Jefferson. The brothers were born in the twin city of Texarkana, a town on the border of Texas and Arkansas, and can remember entertaining as early as the age of four. Through the encouragement of their mother and grandmother, they began singing in church which led them on their pursuit of music. Although Jrmar is older, Lamar is the leader and more dominant of the two. The brothers grew being influenced by great entertainers such as Michael Jackson, The Temptations, Jodeci, R. Kelly, The Isley Brothers, Bobby Womack, and Frankie Beverly and Maze.
They began sharing the stage and taking their singing career very seriously during their freshman year of high school. Throughout the years they have been able to open up for many acts;: Avant, Lakeside, Jodeci, and Ginuwine. In addition, they have made a number of nationwide television appearances over the years as well as being featured on shows such as American Idol, MTV Making The Band 4, and The Jenny Jones Show.
One of their most memorable moments was performing at Jingle Jam in front of a crowd of 19,000 in Houston, Texas. “We performed H-Town’s single “Knocking The Boots” and the crowd went crazy.” Their biggest gratification in performing is seeing the fan’s reaction and getting a great response. “Our fans get double the pleasure, double the fun, and double the entertainment. Audition[]
Timez 2's audition in Episode 406 consisted of singing Usher's "Yeah!" together. Although Piers Morgan voted "No," Sharon Osbourne and David Hasselhoff both voted "Yes", sending the duo to the Vegas Round.
Vegas Round[]
It is unknown whether or not Timez 2 was present during the Vegas Round as it was never seen, but even if it was, it did not advance to the Quarterfinals.
