Background
Torville Jones, also known as Tokio Myers, was the winner of Britain's Got Talent in 2017, beating out fellow The Champions contestant Issy Simpson.
Prior to competing on The Champions, Tokio had never been to the United States.
The Champions Preliminary
Tokio Myers' performance in Episode TC05 consisted of performing a medley of Claude Debussy's Claire de Lune and Ed Sheeran's Bloodstream on the piano and drums. Howie Mandel , Mel B , Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell all gave him standing ovations. Tokio did not receive enough votes to place in the night's top 3, eliminating him from the competition.
The Champions Finale
Tokio returned as a guest performer in Episode TC07. He performed "All We Got" by Chance the Rapper with Voices of Hope Children's Choir.
After the Show
Tokio returned in Episode 1420 as a guest performer, performing an arrangement of Capital Cities' "Safe and Sound" with Stewart Copeland (drummer for The Police).
