Travis Japan were a boy band from Season 17 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Semifinals. They returned for America's Got Talent: Fantasy League, competing on Mel B’s team where they were eliminated in the Preliminaries.
Background[]
The group was first formed around 2012, with the current seven-member lineup remaining intact since 2017. They are members of Starto Entertainment (formerly Johnny & Associates), the most famous and recognizable idol talent agency in Japan.
The "Travis" in their group name comes from American choreographer Travis Payne, who assisted in their formation.
Audition[]
Travis Japan's audition in Episode 1706 consisted of singing and dancing to their original song "My Dreamy Hollywood". All the judges voted "Yes", sending them to the next round.
Deliberations[]
Travis Japan were selected to advance to the Semifinals.
Semifinals[]
Travis Japan's Semifinals performance in Episode 1718 consisted of singing and dancing to their original song "Party Up Like Crazy". Howie Mandel buzzed the act. They did not receive enough votes to enter the Top 5 of the night in Episode 1719, eliminating them from the competition along with Aubrey Burchell instead of Kristen Cruz.
After Season 17[]
On September 28, 2022, the group signed a deal with Universal Music Japan and Capitol Records.

Fantasy League Preliminary[]
Travis Japan’s preliminary performance in Episode FL04 consisted of singing and dancing to their original song "Just Dance!". Heidi Klum, Mel B and Simon Cowell gave them standing ovations. They did not receive enough votes to advance to the Semifinals, eliminating them from the competition instead of Musa Motha.

- They were the only act with an Early Release video not to advance from the preliminary rounds on Fantasy League.
