Vello Vaher was a contortionist from Season 11 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated in the Quarterfinals.

Background[]

Vello Vaher is from Tallinn, Estonia. He sought to audition on the show because he wanted more people to know his name as Estonia does not have many "paparachos." He is an acrobatics teacher to kids. He is married to his supportive wife.

Audition[]

Vello Vaher's audition in Episode 1104 consisted of balancing his body on his hand, hopping on his hands across thin platforms, climbing a rope, and then finally hanging by a mouthpiece, all while his legs were bent over his head. Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes," sending Vello to the Judge Cuts.

Judge Cuts[]

Vello Vaher's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1108 consisted of climbing across a beam with his hands while his legs were over his arms. He then glided down a biplane as his mouth clenched a mouthpiece and his legs stayed bent over his arms. Vello's performance was strong enough for the judges to send him to the Quarterfinals instead of Cody Carter and Erik Cavanaugh.

Quarterfinals[]

Vello Vaher's Week 3 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1115 consisted of contorting his body and climbing up stairs, up walls, and up a rope, all on a set resembling a pirate ship. Simon Cowell buzzed the act. Vello did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals in Episode 1116, eliminating him from the competition along with Julia Scotti, instead of Edgar.
