Vicki Barbolak was a stand-up comedienne act from Season 13 of America's Got Talent. She finished the competition in the Bottom 5 of the Top 10. Vicki returned to America's Got Talent: The Champions, where she was eliminated in the Preliminaries.

Background

Vicki Barbolak is from Oceanside, California. She first pursued comedy when she was 38 years old after seeing an ad for a stand-up comedy class. Besides being a comedian, she is also an actress and writer, known for Pickin' & Grinnin' (2010), Call Me Crazy (2003) and Accidentally on Purpose (2005). [1] Her father is the late Pete Barbolak, a former offensive tackle who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1949.

Audition

Vicki Barbolak's audition in Episode 1301 consisted of performing a stand-up routine about visiting a men's prison, her need for a bra, and therapy. Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes", sending Vicki to the Judge Cuts.

Judge Cuts

Vicki Barbolak's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1308 consisted of a routine where she talks about her stage outfit and general observations about her daughter's wish to go to Coachella and going on school field trips drunk as well as about raising a baby. Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell, and guest judge Olivia Munn gave her standing ovations. Her performance was strong enough for the judges to send her to the Quarterfinals.

Quarterfinals

Vicki Barbolak's Week 1 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1311 consisted of performing a stand-up routine where she discusses her dating life and marriage. Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell gave her standing ovations. Vicki received enough votes to advance to the Semifinals in Episode 1312 instead of Human Fountains.

Semifinals

Vicki Barbolak's Week 2 Semifinals performance in Episode 1319 consisted of performing a stand-up routine about how gorgeous the men are in Italy, shared some "trailer nasty" tricks on how to attract a significant other, how difficult dieting is, and misadventures with boxed wine. Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell all gave her standing ovations. Vicki received enough votes to advance to the Finals in Episode 1320 instead of Aaron Crow and Da RepubliK.


Finals

Vicki Barbolak's Finals performance in Episode 1321 consisted of performing a stand-up routine starting with stating how she thought the finals would be a swimsuit competition. She then talked about how it's a crime to talk about having grandchildren, football season, having her father's 80th birthday party at Hooters and how there should be a women's equivalent with no shrimp. Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell all gave her standing ovations.

Finale

For the finale in Episode 1322, Vicki Barbolak gets advice from David Spade about show business and life in Hollywood. She did not receive enough votes to advance to the Top 5, eliminating her from the competition instead of Samuel J. Comroe.

The Champions Preliminary

Vicki Barbolak returned for The Champions. Her Preliminary performance in Episode TC01 consisted of performing a stand-up routine about her trailer park lifestyle, about being famous and getting the “second best trailer” in her park. Howie Mandel , Mel B , Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell all gave her standing ovations.  Vicki did did not receive enough votes to advance to the night's Top 3, eliminating her from the competition.

After the Show

Vicki Barbolak will be one of the AGT representatives competing on Britain's Got Talent: The Champions. [2]
